Pilot, Owner Services - Citation M2, Phoenix, AZ
Textron Aviation, a global leader in private aviation with a nine-decade legacy, seeks a highly skilled and experienced pilot to join its ProOwnership program in Phoenix, Arizona. As a Pilot, Owner Services, you will provide on-site flight support for aircraft owners, ensuring a premium flight experience that aligns with the company's commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Enhance the Ownership Experience: Deliver exceptional service by demonstrating expertise in Citation and King Air systems, avionics, and flying characteristics. Communicate the value and benefits of the aircraft and ownership program throughout flights.
- Act as a Company Liaison: Facilitate effective communication between the owner and Textron Aviation, ensuring all parties' concerns are addressed fairly and efficiently. Maintain a clear understanding of the agency agreement, defining the operational control of the owner.
- Communicate Effectively: Provide clear and concise information to the owner regarding Pilot-In-Command responsibilities, safe operating procedures, and optimal aircraft utilization.
- Demonstrate Problem-Solving Abilities: Embrace a solution-driven mindset, actively seeking innovative solutions to challenges.
- Maintain Aircraft Standards: Conduct thorough pre-flight and post-flight inspections to identify any mechanical or cosmetic discrepancies. Communicate findings to the Maintenance Manager and Service Center to uphold the highest safety and quality standards.
- Ensure Maintenance Compliance: Collaborate with the maintenance manager to schedule required inspections and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Optimize Flight Scheduling: Work closely with the account manager to understand and contribute to the aircraft flight schedule, ensuring flights are conducted within the operational manual's guidelines, including crew duty limits, weather minimums, and runway lengths.
- Prioritize Safety: Uphold the paramount importance of safety in all flight operations.
- Adhere to Regulations: Remain current with all relevant FAA and ICAO regulations and local operating procedures.
- Maintain Flight Currency: Ensure ongoing training and flight currency for all phases of operations, informing the Chief Pilot or Manager, Aircraft Management of any expiring currency.
- Participate in Training: Actively engage in required training programs, encompassing initial and recurrent aircraft training, emergency procedures, crew coordination, international procedures, and other training as deemed necessary by management.
- Perform Administrative Duties: Contribute to efficient department operations by maintaining aircraft flight logs, updating navigation equipment, acquiring essential flight documentation, and performing light aircraft cleaning and store room duties.
- Coordinate Vacation Requests: Collaborate with the account manager assigned to the owner to effectively coordinate vacation requests.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred in Business Management or Aerospace related fields. Alternatively, 3 years of relevant industry experience and the qualifications outlined below are required.
- Essential Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain a valid US passport.
- Ability to obtain a FAA First Class medical.
- Airline Transport Pilot certification with demonstrated piloting skills exceeding the minimum standards outlined in the relevant Practical Test Standards.
- 3,000 total logged flying hours.
- 1,000 hours in Turbo Prop, Turbo Fan, or Turbo Jet Aircraft.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- FAA Flight Instructor Certification.
- International operating experience.
- Experience with Citation or King Air products.
- Ability to consistently comply with customer insurance requirements.
