Pilot, Owner Services - Citation Latitude/CE 680
Textron Aviation, a global leader in private aviation, seeks an experienced pilot to provide on-site flight support for owners of Citation Latitude/CE 680 aircraft under the ProOwnership management agreement. This role is an integral part of delivering exceptional ownership experiences, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Provide product expertise on Citation and King Air systems, avionics, and flying characteristics, enhancing the ownership experience through consistent communication during flight activities.
- Act as a company liaison between the owner and Textron Aviation, ensuring all parties' concerns are addressed fairly.
- Communicate effectively with the owner regarding Pilot-In-Command responsibilities, safe operating standards, and efficient aircraft utilization methods.
- Employ a solution-driven approach to resolve challenges, exploring all available avenues.
- Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections to identify mechanical and cosmetic discrepancies, communicating findings to the Maintenance Manager and Service Center to maintain the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to schedule required aircraft inspections, ensuring certification to MNPS/RVSM/RNP standards to meet all domestic and international travel requirements.
- Work with the Account Manager to understand and provide input to the flight schedule, continuously monitoring activities to ensure compliance with operational manual guidelines, including crew duty limits, rest requirements, runway lengths, and weather minimums.
- Prioritize safety in all flight operations.
- Maintain familiarity with all applicable FAA and ICAO regulations, ensuring compliance with all regulations and local operating procedures.
- Ensure training and flight currency for all phases of operations, informing the Chief Pilot or Manager, Aircraft Management when currency is approaching expiration.
- Attend required training, including initial and recurrent aircraft training, emergency procedures training, crew coordination training, international procedures training, and other training deemed necessary by management.
- Perform essential day-to-day department management duties, such as maintaining aircraft flight logs, updating navigation equipment, obtaining necessary flight documentation, and performing store room duties and light aircraft cleaning.
- Coordinate vacation requests with the Account Manager assigned to the owner.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or Aerospace-related fields preferred.
- In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 3 years of industry experience is required.
- Ability to obtain a valid US passport.
- Ability to obtain a FAA First Class medical certificate.
- Airline Transport Pilot certification with demonstrated piloting skills exceeding the minimums stated in the appropriate Practical Test Standards.
- FAA Flight Instructor Certification preferred.
- 3,000 Total Logged Flying Hours.
- 1,000 Hours in Turbo Prop, Turbo Fan, or Turbo Jet Aircraft.
- International operating experience preferred.
- Experience with Citation or King Air products preferred.
- Ability to consistently comply with customer insurance requirements.
