Job Summary

Textron Corporate Aviation is seeking a Captain to crew a Citation Longitude and X in support of its operations at Textron Corporate. This role offers exciting opportunities, including training for a Citation X type rating, and rewarding challenges. The person selected will join a team of passionate, high caliber aviators, maintenance and operations staff and should be a self-starter, team player, and professionally driven. The Captain/PIC will be responsible for the safe and efficient operations of company aircraft while maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations, rules, directives, company procedures, and aircraft flight manuals.


+ Act as PIC/Co-Captain on company aircraft

+ Responsible for the safe and efficient use of assigned aircraft.

+ Maintain a high level of communication with all team members.

+ Maintain a superior level of operational knowledge of the department to maintain proper adherence to SOPs.

+ Support a positive work environment and open avenues of communication.

+ Discusses operational concerns with team members to improve efficiency.

+ Keep up to date on airplane/equipment manufacturers and government regulations affecting flight operations to ensure that company manuals adhere to legal requirements and are adapted to type of aircraft in use.

+ Participate in the department’s Safety Management System ongoing evolution to improve overall safety and efficiency.

+ Represent the company at all times in a professional manor.

+ Must have the ability and willingness to work irregularschedules as assigned and to support other Textron Inc., divisions.



+ Commercial Pilot Certificate or Airline Transport Pilot Certificate (Multi-Engine)

+ Current First-Class FAA Medical Certificate

+ Prefer a minimum of 2500 total flight hours

+ Prefer a minimum of 500 fixed-wing turbine hours

+ Jet aircraft Pilot-in-command skills

+ Experience with corporate flight operations

+ Knowledge of Safety Management System Implementation

+ International flight experience preferred

+ Bachelor’s Degree preferred


+ Superior customer service and communications skills

+ Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and remain organized in a fast-paced environment

+ Highly-motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic; ability to work independently and as a member of a team

+ Demonstrated experience working within a team environment

+ Creative thinker with a strong process improvement inclination
