JOB SUMMARY
Textron Corporate Aviation (PVD) is seeking a Captain to crew a Citation in support of its operations at Textron Specialized Vehicles – Augusta, GA facility. This role offers exciting opportunities, including training for a Citation X type rating, and rewarding challenges. The person selected will join a team of passionate, high caliber aviators, maintenance and operations staff and should be a self-starter, team player, and professionally driven. The Captain will be responsible for the safe and efficient operations of company aircraft while maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations, rules, directives, company procedures, and aircraft flight manuals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Act as PIC/Co-Captain on Textron Inc. aircraft.
+ Responsible for the safe and efficient use of Textron Inc. aircraft.
+ Keep current on airplane/equipment manufacturers and government regulations affecting flight operations to ensure that company manuals adhere to legal requirements and are adapted to type of aircraft in use.
+ Maintain a superior level of operational knowledge of the department to maintain proper adherence to SOPs.
+ Participate in the Safety Management System (SMS) ongoing evolution to improve overall safety and efficiency.
+ Supervise SIC/Contract pilots as required and maintain the highest level of morale and professionalism.
+ Create a positive work environment and open avenues of communication with staff and PVD.
+ Discusses any opportunities for improvements with superiors to improve efficiency.
+ Coordinate with PVD pilot scheduling on training, vacation, etc.
+ Must have the ability and willingness to work irregular schedules as assigned.
+ Represent the company at all times in a professional manner.
+ Open to further career development opportunities within Textron business units.
+ Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
+ Commercial Pilot Certificate or Airline Transport Pilot Certificate (Multi-Engine).
+ Current First-Class FAA Medical Certificate.
+ Prefer a minimum of 2500 total flight hours.
+ Prefer a minimum of 500 fixed-wing turbine hours.
+ Jet aircraft Pilot-in-command skills.
+ Experience with corporate flight operations.
+ Knowledge of Safety Management System Implementation.
+ International flight experience preferred.
+ Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
