As a First Officer, the individual will serve as second-in-command to the Captain, providing critical support in flight operations. Responsibilities include supporting training activities, executing duties as outlined in Operations Manuals, assisting the Captain with flight management and decision-making, and applying best practices in Non-Technical Skills (NTS). In the event of Captain incapacitation, the First Officer will assume full command of the aircraft. The role requires shift work, availability outside office hours, and domestic and international travel.

Candidates must possess a current ATPL issued by the New Zealand Civil Aviation Authority or the Civil Aviation Safety Authority of Australia, with the ability to obtain a New Zealand ATPL. A B737 NG Type Rating with recent experience (within the last 5 years) is essential. Minimum experience requirements include 3,000 hours Total Time, 2,000 hours on Multi-Pilot Aircraft (MPA), and 1,000 hours on aircraft over 50 tonnes MTOW. Applicants should reside or be willing to relocate to Auckland or Christchurch. Exceptional communication, collaboration, problem-solving skills, drive, initiative, and a pragmatic, hands-on approach are crucial for success.
