Responsible for the safe, efficient and effective operation of the company’s two aircrafts: Piper Nava PA-31 and Piper Aztec PA-23. Responsible for the safety of the aircraft and its occupants, primarily Survey Operations Specialists, in conducting aerial surveys out of CYOO Oshawa Airport.
Flexibility to adjust work schedules - willingness, availability and ability to render stand-by and occasional call-back and to provide service days, evenings and weekends, as required in order to meet the company’s requirements and timetable
Qualifications:
Completion of secondary school and graduation from a certified flying or aviation school; University degree or college diploma an asset;
Minimum 500 hours total flying time as PIC; Minimum 100 hours multi-engine to fly twin engine aircraft; Minimum 100 hours retractable gear; Instrument rating to fly aircraft in poor weather conditions
Previous experience on Navajo PA31-350, Aztec PA23
Aerial survey flying experience an asset
Good knowledge of GTA airspace
Willing to drive to Oshawa Airport
Completion of Category 1 Medical
Strong command of written and spoken English a necessity
Must be available on short notice; flights are not scheduled
