About the Role

bizav, an operator based in Talkeetna, Alaska, is seeking a Captain to fly the 180/182/185 Skywagon. This position is integral to the company's scenic flight operations, which feature specialized glacier landings.

Requirements

• Commercial Pilot License (CPL)
• A minimum of 2,000 flight hours
• A preference for 500 flight hours of tailwheel experience
• At least 50 flight hours in a Cessna 185, DeHavilland Beaver (DHC-2), or DeHavilland Otter (DHC-3ST)
• Availability to attend a one-week ground school session in Talkeetna during the latter half of April
• Successful completion of all required check rides prior to final employment confirmation

Qualifications

• Pilot in Command (PIC) duties
• Operation of the 180/182/185 Skywagon aircraft
• Commercial pilot experience
• Experience with glacier landings
• Tailwheel aircraft proficiency
