Captain, Business Aviation (Asia Flight Operations)

Location: Luton, England, United Kingdom (Hybrid setup supporting Asia operations)

TAG Aviation seeks a highly accomplished and experienced Captain to join its dedicated team focused on flight operations across Asia. The successful candidate will be responsible for upholding the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and professionalism while providing exceptional customer service to discerning clientele.

Role Profile and Key Responsibilities

The Captain holds ultimate responsibility for the safe operation of the assigned aircraft and adherence to all regulatory and organizational standards. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of safety, technical competence, and superior airmanship, particularly within the luxury business aviation sector.

Core Duties:

  • Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft during all phases of flight.
  • Performing rigorous pre-flight inspections and checks to confirm all aircraft systems are functioning optimally.
  • Maintaining clear, precise, and effective communication with Air Traffic Control (ATC) and ground personnel globally.
  • Accurately maintaining and submitting records pertaining to flight time, fuel consumption, and operational logs.
  • Strictly adhering to all international safety regulations, company operating procedures, and industry best practices.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service, fostering professional relationships with clients and internal team members.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must demonstrate comprehensive experience in demanding jet environments and meet the following minimum requirements:

Technical Requirements:

  • Must hold a valid FAA or EASA Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
  • Possession of a current Class One Medical Certificate.
  • Minimum of 5,000 hours Total Flight Time.
  • Minimum of 1,000 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) on Jet Aircraft.
  • Minimum of 100 hours flight time on Type (Gulfstream G650 or similar large-cabin aircraft experience preferred).
  • A Type Rating on the Global 650 aircraft is highly preferred.

Professional Attributes:

In addition to technical mastery, the Captain must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for seamless coordination with clients and team members. The candidate must exhibit the following attributes:

  • Exceptional professionalism and a commitment to operational excellence.
  • The ability to function effectively and make sound judgments while working well under pressure.
  • Necessary flexibility to accommodate a dynamic schedule, supporting global operations which function on a 24/7 basis.
