Key Requirements for Direct Entry Captain
Prospective Direct Entry Captains with TUS Airways Ltd must meet the following stringent criteria:
- A minimum of 1000 flight hours accumulated as Pilot in Command (PIC) on Jet-powered, Performance Class A Aircraft with a Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW) exceeding 50 tonnes.
- Current operational experience flying the Airbus A320 Family aircraft.
- Possession of a valid A320 type rating.
- Holding a current and valid EASA ATPL(A) license.
- Maintenance of a valid EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- Demonstrated English Language Proficiency at Level 4 or above.
- A clean criminal record.
- Eligibility to reside and work within the European Union.
*Note: Candidates possessing less than 1000 hours as Pilot in Command on Jet-powered, Performance Class A Aircraft over 50T MTOW, but who fulfill requirements 3 through 8, may be considered provided they successfully complete TUS Airways' designated Command training program.
