Key Requirements for Direct Entry Captain
Prospective candidates are required to meet the following criteria:
- A minimum of 1,000 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC) on Jet-powered, Performance Class A Aircraft with a Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW) exceeding 50 tonnes.
- Current operational experience on the Airbus A320 Family.
- A valid Airbus A320 type rating.
- Possession of a valid EASA ATPL(A) (Airline Transport Pilot Licence - Aeroplane).
- A current and valid EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- English language proficiency at Level 4 or above.
- An unblemished criminal record.
- Eligibility to reside and work within the European Union (EU).
Note: Individuals with fewer than 1,000 hours as Pilot in Command on Jet-powered, Performance Class A Aircraft over 50T MTOW, who satisfy all other requirements (items 3 through 8), may be considered. Eligibility in such cases is contingent upon successful completion of the airline's relevant additional Command training program.
