TUIfly GmbH is seeking a dedicated and experienced Flight Crew Rostering & Training Team Lead to join its dynamic team. Based with TUIfly GmbH, this pivotal role involves leading the cockpit crew planning and training functions, ensuring efficient and compliant flight operations for the airline.
As Flight Crew Rostering & Training Team Lead, you will provide disciplinary and technical leadership for the Cockpit Crew Planning & Training team. Key responsibilities include employee development, resource planning (vacation, part-time schedules), and target setting. You will meticulously monitor the flight program, ensuring all crew deployment plans strictly adhere to flight duty and rest time regulations, legal frameworks, and operational agreements, including implementing Fatigue Risk Management and integrating training into cockpit rosters. Further duties encompass station-specific cockpit personnel planning, team representation, and fostering collaboration with various internal managers and officers. You will prepare evaluations for committees, provide expert input, lead or contribute to projects, and drive proactive communication on planning trends, analytical recommendations for efficiency, and process optimisation. Additionally, you will be responsible for reviewing/updating Crew Planning work instructions/manuals, supporting audits, and developing cross-functional workflows.
