About the Role
The Cabin Crew Apprentice role is integral to providing a superior customer experience onboard TUI flights. Responsibilities include delivering outstanding customer service with a sales-through-service approach, ensuring passenger satisfaction, and implementing all safety, first aid, and service procedures with discipline. Successful candidates will demonstrate confidence, emotional intelligence, flexibility, and problem-solving skills, working collaboratively under pressure and adapting to dynamic operational demands. The role involves shift work across a 24/7 flight schedule.
Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years on the first day of the new entrant course.
- Minimum arm reach of 189 cm with bare feet.
- Ability to swim at least 25 metres.
- Proficiency in English, equivalent to CEFR B2 or ILR L3 (understanding, speaking, and writing).
- Willingness to undertake psychoactive testing and a UK CAA Cabin Crew Medical.
- Ability to perform all regulatory duties, including fastening an over-shoulder jump seat harness.
- Valid UK or Irish passport with at least six months' validity, and any necessary travel visas.
- Ability to report to the Gatwick home base in uniform within 90 minutes.
- GCSE or equivalent (grade 4/C or above) in English and Maths, with original certificates.
- Residency in the UK or EEA for the three years immediately preceding the apprenticeship start date.
- Successful completion of background security checks and provision of required vaccination evidence.
