About the Role: First Officer Boeing 787
The First Officer will assume significant operational responsibilities, contributing directly to the safe, efficient, and punctual operation of the Boeing 787. Essential Requirements for First Officer Candidates
Prospective First Officers must meet the following stringent eligibility criteria:
- Possession of an unrestricted and valid EASA (frozen) ATPL licence.
- A current and valid EASA Medical Class 1 certificate.
- Eligibility for Zero Flight Time Training (ZFTT) on the B787, if not currently type-rated, in strict accordance with EASA FCL.730.A.
- A minimum of 500 hours flight time or 100 route sectors on a multi-pilot turbo-jet aeroplane certified to CS-25 standards (or equivalent airworthiness code), OR on a multi-pilot turbo-prop aeroplane with a maximum certificated take-off mass of not less than 10 tonnes or a certificated passenger seating configuration of more than 19 passengers.
- A valid EU/EEA passport with at least 6 months validity from the prospective training start date.
- The legal right to live and work in the Netherlands without restrictions.
- Demonstrable ability to successfully pass all aviation security background checks and fulfil all EU regulatory requirements for flight crew clearance. (Candidates without long-term residence or work rights in the EU should be aware this may impact their eligibility.)
- Capability to report to the Schiphol base within 60 minutes when on standby duty.
- Fluency in English, evidenced by a minimum ICAO English Language Proficiency level 5.
