Key Responsibilities:

  • Command and operate ATR aircraft in compliance with company policies, aviation regulations, and safety standards.
  • Safely conduct pre-flight inspections and checks to ensure the airworthiness of the aircraft.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills while working collaboratively with the flight crew to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Make informed decisions regarding flight safety, weather conditions, and any emergent situations that may arise during flights.
  • Uphold excellent customer service standards by ensuring a comfortable and secure travel experience for passengers.
  • Maintain accurate records of flight logs, crew reports, and other required documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Total Time = minimum 2,000 hrs.
  • Multi-crew operations = minimum 500 hrs on a type greater than 10t MTOW and greater than 19 seats.
  • Minimum PIC time = 500 hrs on a type greater than 10t MTOW and greater than 19 seats.
  • UK CAA ATPL licence, UK CAA Class 1 medical and English level 5 or greater.
  • ATR72-600 type rating preferred but type ratings and difference courses provided as required.
