The Role

Successful candidates will become integral members of the Flight Operations (Asia) team, responsible for the safe and efficient conduct of Gulfstream 650 flights. These roles demand meticulous attention to detail, strong leadership, and an unwavering commitment to safety protocols.

Captain

The Captain holds ultimate responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of the Gulfstream 650 aircraft. This pivotal role requires a proven track record of professionalism, robust leadership skills, and exceptional decision-making capabilities in dynamic operational environments.

First Officer

The First Officer supports the Captain in all aspects of flight operations, contributing significantly to the safe and efficient conduct of flights. This role is ideal for a proactive and detail-oriented pilot eager to advance their career within a premier business aviation setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive pre-flight inspections, ensuring all aircraft systems are fully functional and airworthy.
• Operate the Gulfstream 650 in strict accordance with all relevant aviation regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
• Maintain precise and effective communication with Air Traffic Control and ground personnel.
• Accurately record all flight data, maintain logbooks, and monitor fuel consumption.
• Adhere rigorously to all safety protocols and company operational procedures.
• Provide exemplary customer service to clients, ensuring a comfortable, secure, and seamless travel experience.
• Collaborate effectively with the flight crew and ground support teams to ensure cohesive and integrated operations.

Qualifications and Requirements

General Requirements for All Candidates

• Possession of a valid FAA Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
• A valid Class One Medical Certificate.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to perform effectively and maintain composure under pressure in a dynamic 24/7 operational environment.
• Flexibility with scheduling to accommodate operational demands.
• Unrestricted legal right to live and work in Malaysia without requiring sponsorship.

Captain Specific Requirements

• Minimum of 5,000 hours Total Flight Time.
• Minimum of 1,000 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) on jet aircraft.
• Minimum of 100 hours on Gulfstream 650 type (type rating is preferred).

First Officer Specific Requirements

• Minimum of 2,000 hours Total Flight Time.
• Minimum of 500 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) on jet aircraft.
• Minimum of 50 hours on Gulfstream 650 type (type rating is preferred).

Location

This is an on-site position based in Subang, Selangor, Malaysia, within TAG Aviation's Flight Operations (Asia) division.
