Located in thriving Bloomington, IL, Synergy Flight Center is currently seeking an experienced Embraer 300 Captain to join our growing Part 135 flight department. Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety.
  • Conduct flights in compliance with FAA Part 135 and 91 Regulations.
  • Effectively collaborate and communicate with team and support staff to complete each mission collaboratively, safely, and professionally.
  • Maintain the knowledge and expertise to be a safe and proficient pilot.
  • Collaborate and plan aircraft movements with flight crews to ensure all airspace, airport restrictions, noise abatement procedures, and NOTAMS are complied with.
  • Provide detailed pre/post flight briefings, complete all trip-related duties and paperwork to facilitate proper invoicing and record keeping.
  • Be a Synergy brand ambassador. Always maintain personal integrity and an excellent reputation.
  • Coordinate aircraft handling with FBOs to include arrangements for fuel, catering, hangar, aircraft cleaning, after hours services, international services, or other services as needed.
  • Collaborate with management teams to stay updated on new products, services, and policies.

Qualifications

  • 3,500 - hours total time
  • 1,500 – hours Turbine PIC
  • 250 in type PIC (preferred) Recent Part 135 or 121 experience (preferred)
  • Hold and maintain an FAA First Class Medical
  • Hold an Airport Transport Pilot (ATP) Rating
  • Hold a type rating in any turbine jet (preferably a Phenom 300)
  • No recorded accidents, incidents, or violations
  • International experience a plus

Job Requirements

  • Must hold a valid passport.
  • Must have working knowledge of FAA regulations.
  • Must be able to live or relocate to within 2 hours of BMI
  • Must possess excellent customer relationship skills.
  • Must hold strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must be able to take initiative without direction.
  • Must be flexible to what could be an ever-changing environment.
