This aviation professional executes duties and responsibilities specific to the designated aircraft. They strictly adhere to all safety regulations mandated by the company, Transport Canada, and Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs). The pilot's availability and schedule are determined by aircraft scheduling and operational requirements. They also undertake other related duties as assigned by the Chief Pilot and/or Deputy Chief Pilot. The successful candidate must possess a valid Airline Transport Pilot Licence, a valid Instrument and Type rating (if required), and maintain a current Pilot Proficiency Check (PPC) for an aeroplane within the responsible aircraft grouping.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1000 hours total flight time is required.
  • A minimum of 100 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) flight time is required.
  • A minimum of 500 hours multi-engine flight time is required.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience on the specific aircraft type.
  • Demonstrated excellence in customer service is essential.
  • Flexibility is critical due to the scheduled operation of the aircraft.
  • Proven ability in decision-making and problem-solving is necessary.
  • The candidate must possess strong organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are mandatory.
