BE02 Captain
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and professional BE02 Captain to join our esteemed flight operations team. The successful candidate will be entrusted with the safe and effective command of the BE02 aircraft, upholding the highest standards of safety, regulatory compliance, and customer service. This role is integral to our operations and requires a commitment to excellence in all aspects of flight duty.
Key Responsibilities
- Assume the role of Pilot-in-Command, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the BE02 aircraft.
- Execute all necessary duties and responsibilities associated with flight operations in a professional manner.
- Maintain strict adherence to all safety regulations as stipulated by the company, Transport Canada, and Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs).
- Fulfill safety accountabilities as outlined within the Sunwest Safety Management System manual.
- Undertake any additional duties as assigned by the Chief Pilot and/or Deputy Chief Pilot.
Required Qualifications
- Hold a valid Canadian Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL).
- Possess a valid Instrument Rating and Type Rating, if required.
- Must have a valid Canadian passport or permanent resident status with the necessary visas to travel without restriction throughout Canada, the United States, Mexico, the Caribbean, South America, and Western Europe.
- Willingness and ability to travel to the United States for training purposes.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC).
- Must successfully complete a comprehensive criminal background check.
Minimum Flight Experience
- Total Time: 3,000 hours
- Pilot-in-Command (PIC): 1,800 hours
- Multi-Engine: 1,500 hours
- Multi-Engine PIC: 900 hours
Preference will be given to candidates with previous time on type. Please note this position is for a Contrail-equipped aircraft.

Work Schedule
This position offers a flexible rotational schedule, with available options including 5 days on / 2 days off or 10 days on / 4 days off.
