Minimum Qualifications and Licensing
Prospective candidates must strictly adhere to the following mandatory aviation requirements:
- License Requirements: Applicants must hold a valid EASA Frozen ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License), Multi-Engine (ME) rating, and Instrument Rating (IR).
- License Validity: Open exclusively to current EASA license holders.
- Medical Status: A valid EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate is mandatory.
- Type Rating: While an active A320 Type Rating is considered a significant advantage, it is not required, as training will be provided by Sundair.
- Language Proficiency: A minimum ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP) Level 4 is required.
- Visa and Sponsorship: Candidates must be legally eligible to work within the EU. Visa sponsorship is not offered by the company.
Essential Candidate Profile
The successful First Officer candidate must demonstrate high professional standards and possess the following essential skills and personal attributes:
- Language Skills: Very good working knowledge of both German and English is mandatory.
- Interpersonal Skills: High level of communication skills, exceptional flexibility, and a strong commitment to teamwork.
- Professionalism: An open and friendly demeanor, combined with a professional and well-groomed appearance.
- Competence: Demonstrated strong intercultural competence.
- Physical Requirement: Applicants must possess good swimming skills.
- Connectivity: Reliable access to necessary communication methods, including an active internet connection and constant telephone availability.
- Residency Requirement: The pilot must establish a permanent place of residence within a maximum distance of 50 km (approximately one hour travel time) from the designated operating base.
- Travel Documentation: Possession of a valid passport with a minimum of six months remaining validity.
