Position Overview
FlyHouse is seeking a dedicated and professional Pilot in Command for our Beechjet/BE400 Nextant fleet. As a resilient and safety-focused organization holding Wyvern Wingman, Argus Platinum, Air Charter Safety Foundation, and IS-BAO certifications, we prioritize excellence in all flight operations. The successful candidate will operate in both Part 91 and 135 capacities within a 4-crew rotation, 8-on/6-off schedule.
Captain Qualifications

Must hold a BE400 Type Rating (Nextant experience preferred)

Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate

First Class Medical Certificate

3,500 hours Total Time
-
2,000 hours Multi-Engine Land time, with 1,800 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC)

200 hours in BE400 (Nextant experience with 100 hours PIC preferred)
-
1,800 hours PIC and 1,800 hours Turbine time
-
300 hours Instrument time as PIC
-
30 hours of flight time in the last 90 days and 200 hours within the last 365 days
-
International experience meeting ICAO requirements

Prior 135 experience
Key Responsibilities

Flight Operations & Safety:
Conduct flight operations in compliance with FAA regulations, SOPs, and SMS; perform all pre-flight and post-flight duties; maintain awareness of weather minimums and fuel requirements. Ability to lift a minimum of 65lbs is required.

Crew Resource Management:
Demonstrate leadership in a multi-crew environment, maintaining professionalism and coordinating with dispatch and maintenance for seamless trip execution.

Passenger Experience:
Ensure a high level of service, cabin readiness, and clear communication with passengers.

Operational Coordination:
Manage trip logistics, including reviewing NOTAMs, weather briefings, and ensuring all documentation is accurate and onboard.

Regulatory Compliance:
Maintain all required certifications, medicals, and training currencies; complete recurrent training as scheduled.

Administrative:
Accurately complete flight logs, expense reports, and utilize company scheduling and reporting platforms.
Operational Logistics

Base:
Home Base (must reside within 2 hours of a major hub airport).

International Requirements:
Must meet ICAO international age requirements.

Screening:
Applicants are subject to FAA/DOT drug testing, pilot records checks, background checks, fingerprinting, and driver’s record verification.
Compensation and Benefits
The Captain salary range is $155,000 – $165,000. Benefits include competitive pay, per diem, 401K with employer match, comprehensive health insurance (medical, dental, vision), and paid time off.
