FlyHouse is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Pilot in Command to join its team.

Position Summary

This role serves as a Pilot in Command for floating aircraft operating under Part 91 and Part 135 regulations. The position operates on a 4-crew rotation schedule of 8 days on and 6 days off. Candidates must reside within two hours of a major hub airport.

Captain Qualifications

  • BE400 Type Rating required (Nextant experience preferred).
  • Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
  • First Class Medical Certificate.
  • 3,500 hours total flight time.
  • 2,000 hours Multi-Engine Land time, including 1,800 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC).
  • 200 hours in BE400 (Nextant experience preferred; 100 hours minimum as PIC).
  • 1,800 hours total PIC time.
  • 1,800 hours Turbine time.
  • 300 hours Instrument time as PIC.
  • Currency requirements: 30 hours in the last 90 days and 200 hours within the last 365 days.
  • International experience meeting ICAO requirements.
  • Part 135 operational experience.

Key Responsibilities

Flight Operations & Safety

  • Conduct all operations in strict compliance with FAA regulations, company SOPs, and Safety Management Systems (SMS).
  • Perform all pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight duties.
  • Ensure adherence to weather minimums, fuel requirements, and alternate planning.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 65 lbs.

Crew Resource Management & Operational Coordination

  • Demonstrate leadership and effective communication in a multi-crew environment.
  • Coordinate with dispatch, maintenance, and operations to ensure seamless trip execution.
  • Review trip sheets, NOTAMs, and weather briefings prior to departure.
  • Maintain accurate aircraft, crew, and passenger documentation.

Passenger Experience & Professional Standards

  • Provide professional, high-touch service to passengers and ensure cabin comfort.
  • Maintain flexibility for a 24/7 operational environment, including weekends and holidays.
  • Complete administrative tasks, including flight logs and expense reports, in a timely manner.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $155,000 – $165,000.
  • Benefits: Competitive pay, per diem, 401K with employer match, health insurance (medical, dental, vision) largely company-paid, and paid time off.

Regulatory Requirements

Applicants are subject to an FAA/DOT drug testing program, pilot records check, background check, fingerprinting, and driver’s records check. Candidates must meet ICAO international age requirements for international charter flying.
