Summit and TransMedics Aviation, in a collaborative effort, are establishing a National Aviation Network dedicated to organ transplant missions throughout the United States. The organizations seek highly motivated and safety-conscious professionals to join their expanding fleet as Phenom 300 Captains. This role is integral to the mission of saving lives through exceptional aviation services.

The scheduling is designed to optimize flight times and minimize the inherent unpredictability of organ transportation. The ideal candidate is a mission-driven team player with a passion for exceeding expectations and providing outstanding service.

This is a home-based position, preferably located near major metropolitan areas including Boston, New York, Dallas, Scottsdale, Chicago, Atlanta, Seattle, the Bay Area, Baltimore, and Denver. The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $154,500 to $165,000, commensurate with experience, and a comprehensive benefits package. The work schedule consists of a rotation of 8 days on duty followed by 6 days off.

Requirements:

  • Must hold an EMB-505 Type Rating.
  • Minimum of 3,000 hours of total flight time.
  • Possession of an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
  • Current First Class Medical Certificate and a clean record.
  • Valid and unrestricted passport.
  • Successful completion of a comprehensive background check.
  • Participation in Summit's DOT Drug & Alcohol testing program.
  • Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, iOS, and other internet-based programs.
