Starlite Aviation Group is actively recruiting a proficient and safety-conscious BE20 Captain to command essential flight operations across Central Africa. Critical Requirements for Candidacy

Prospective candidates must meet the following stringent aviation experience criteria:

  • Fixed-Wing Flying Experience: Extensive hands-on experience operating fixed-wing aircraft is imperative for mission readiness and the highest safety standards.
  • Total Aeroplane Hours: A minimum of 3,000 total aeroplane hours, demonstrating a robust foundation of flight experience.
  • Total Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Hours: A minimum of 1,000 total PIC hours, signifying significant command responsibility and operational expertise.
  • Night PIC Hours: A minimum of 100 PIC hours accrued during night operations, ensuring proficiency and safety in low-visibility conditions.
  • BE20 Hours / PIC on BE20: A minimum of 200 total hours on the King Air BE20, with at least 50 of those hours as PIC, confirming advanced type familiarity and proficiency.
  • Multicrew PIC Hours: A minimum of 500 PIC hours in a multicrew environment, demonstrating effective leadership and coordination within a cockpit.
  • Total PIC Instrument Flight Hours: A minimum of 75 PIC hours under Instrument Flight Rules (IFR), confirming the capability to navigate and command aircraft safely in varied weather and controlled airspace.

Qualifications and Essential Position Requirements

The following qualifications are essential for consideration:

  • A valid SACAA ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License).
  • A current and valid pilot medical certificate.
  • Valid Dangerous Goods and Crew Resource Management (CRM) certifications.
  • BE20 Type Rating. A B190 rating is considered a distinct advantage.

  • Location: The role is based in Central Africa, with operations potentially extending to remote or high-demand regions based on mission needs.
  • Rosters: Candidates must be adaptable and prepared for variable flight schedules, including irregular hours and weekend work.
  • Team Environment: The position operates within a high-performance, multicrew setting, demanding strong communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.
  • Compliance: All flight operations are conducted in strict adherence to established safety protocols, aviation regulations, and Starlite Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure crew and mission integrity.
