Critical Requirements for Co-Pilot Role:
- Fixed-Wing Flying Experience: Prior hands-on experience operating fixed-wing aircraft is a fundamental requirement for operational readiness.
- Total Aeroplane Flight Hours: A minimum of 1500 total aeroplane flight hours is essential to ensure a high level of proficiency and safety in flight operations.
- Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Hours: A minimum of 250 PIC hours is required, demonstrating the candidate's capability to assume full responsibility for aircraft command.
- King Air BE20 Experience: Candidates with specific experience on the King Air BE20 are highly valued. A minimum of 100 total hours on the BE20 type, including at least 20 hours as PIC, is preferred.
- Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) PIC Hours: A minimum of 75 PIC hours under Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) is necessary, showcasing the ability to operate safely and competently in various weather conditions.
Qualifications and Position Requirements:
To be considered for this Co-Pilot position, candidates must possess the following essential qualifications:
- A valid Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) or Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) with an Instrument Flight Rating (IF).
- A valid pilot medical certificate.
- Current certifications in Dangerous Goods awareness and Crew Resource Management (CRM).
- BE20 Type Rating. A B190 rating is considered a distinct advantage.
