Starlite Aviation Group seeks a highly proficient, safety-focused, and exceptionally skilled King Air BE20 Captain (Pilot-in-Command) to lead critical fixed-wing operations throughout Central Africa. This esteemed position requires a professional dedicated to exacting safety standards, offering the opportunity to command essential missions where aviation expertise directly contributes to significant operational objectives.

Minimum Essential Flight Experience

Candidates must possess the following foundational flight experience, demonstrating mission readiness and extensive operational exposure:

  • Total Aeroplane Hours: 3,000 – Demonstrable comprehensive flight time across fixed-wing platforms.
  • Total Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Hours: 1,000 – Significant proven experience holding ultimate responsibility for the aircraft, crew, and mission.
  • Multi-Crew PIC Hours: 500 – Established ability to operate effectively and lead a crew within a multi-pilot cockpit environment.
  • King Air BE20 Total Hours: 200 – Substantial time on type, ensuring deep system familiarity.
  • King Air BE20 PIC Hours: 50 – Proven recent experience commanding the BE20 aircraft.
  • Night PIC Hours: 100 – Certified experience operating as PIC during night conditions, ensuring safety and confidence in low-visibility environments.
  • Total PIC Instrument Flight Hours (IFR): 75 – Confirmed capability to command aircraft under Instrument Flight Rules, essential for operations in varied weather and controlled airspace.
  • Fixed-Wing Experience: Proven hands-on experience operating fixed-wing aircraft is essential.

Essential Qualifications and Certifications

The following mandatory professional qualifications are required for consideration:

  • A valid Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) or Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) with an Instrument Flight (IF) Rating.
  • A current and valid Aviation Medical Certificate.
  • Current and valid certification in Dangerous Goods (DG) Handling and Crew Resource Management (CRM).
  • King Air BE20 Type Rating is mandatory.
  • A Beechcraft B190 rating is highly desirable.
