Starlite Aviation Group is actively recruiting a highly proficient and safety-conscious King Air BE20 Captain. This esteemed position offers the opportunity to command vital aviation missions across Central Africa, contributing significantly to operations where each flight is of critical importance.
Key Requirements:
- Fixed-Wing Flying Experience: Demonstrated operational experience with fixed-wing aircraft is mandatory for mission readiness and paramount safety.
- Total Aeroplane Hours: A minimum of 3,000 total aeroplane hours is required, showcasing comprehensive flight time and operational exposure.
- Total Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Hours: A minimum of 1,000 total PIC hours is essential, reflecting significant command experience and responsibility for aircraft and crew.
- Night PIC Hours: At least 100 PIC hours specifically during night conditions are necessary, ensuring proficiency and safety in low-visibility environments.
- BE20 Hours / PIC on BE20: A minimum of 200 hours on the King Air BE20, with at least 50 hours as PIC on type, is required to confirm advanced proficiency and familiarity.
- Multicrew PIC Hours: A minimum of 500 PIC hours in multicrew operations is required, demonstrating the ability to lead effectively within a complex cockpit environment.
- Total PIC Instrument Flight Hours: A minimum of 75 PIC instrument flight hours is required, confirming capability and confidence in operating under Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) in diverse weather and airspace conditions.
Qualifications and Position Essentials:
The following qualifications are indispensable for this role:
- Valid South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
- Valid pilot medical certificate.
- Valid Dangerous Goods and Crew Resource Management (CRM) certifications.
- King Air BE20 Type Rating; a B190 rating is considered an advantage.
