Type Rating Instructor (TRI) - Beech 90-200 Series Specialist
Star Wings, an established and expanding aviation company based in Dortmund, Germany, is actively seeking a dedicated and qualified Type Rating Instructor (TRI) to strengthen its Aviation Training Center. The ideal candidate will possess expertise, preferably, on the Beech 90-200 series aircraft. This critical role is available for immediate commencement on a full-time, part-time, or freelance contract basis.
The successful candidate will be instrumental in maintaining the high standards of instruction and operational excellence that define Star Wings.
Essential Qualifications and Requirements
Candidates applying for the Type Rating Instructor (TRI) position must meet the following mandatory criteria:
- Possession of a valid EASA CPL (A) Licence with a current Type Rating Instructor (TRI) endorsement or a valid Synthetic Flight Instructor (SFI) authorization.
- Current and valid EASA Medical Certificate Class 1.
- Unrestricted residency and work permit eligibility for employment within Germany.
- Excellent command of both German and English, written and verbal (minimum ICAO Level 4 proficiency required).
- Valid official background check (Zuverlässigkeitsüberprüfung).
- Possession of a valid motor vehicle driver's license (PKW Führerschein).
- Proven high level of flexibility and resilience in demanding professional environments.
- Demonstrated exceptional teamwork capability.
- Exemplary interpersonal skills and professional demeanor.
- Residency within the Westphalia region is considered advantageous.
Required Flight Experience as Type Rating Instructor
Applicants must document substantial flight experience relevant to the role:
- A minimum of 1000 flight hours on Type (applicable aircraft).
- For candidates holding the TRI qualification specific to the Beech 90-200 (BE 90-200), a minimum of 500 hours must have been logged as Pilot-in-Command (PIC).
