Minimum Candidate Requirements and Qualifications
Prospective applicants must meet the following mandatory technical and professional criteria:
Technical Flight Requirements
- Total Pilot-In-Command (PIC) Time: A minimum of 1000 hours.
- Flight Time in Type: A minimum of 500 hours.
- PIC Time on Type: A minimum of 200 hours accumulated as Pilot-In-Command on the specified aircraft type.
- Type Rating: The relevant aircraft Type Rating is mandatory.
- Licensing: A current Commercial Pilot License (CPL) is required.
- Licensing Authority: The CPL must be issued by EASA (European Union Aviation Safety Agency).
- Medical Certification: A valid Class 1 Medical Certificate is compulsory.
- Language Proficiency: ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP) level 4 or higher.
General and Professional Prerequisites
- A very good knowledge of German and English (at least ICAO Level 4) is essential, covering both written and spoken communication.
- Possession of a passport without operational restrictions.
- Ability to successfully pass a comprehensive background check.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
- Demonstrated ability to function effectively and collaboratively within a team-oriented structure.
- The successful candidate must exhibit excellent manners and maintain a confident, professional demeanor at all times.
