Professional Flight Instructor / Aviation Training Specialist

The following outlines the essential qualifications and required competencies for the role of Professional Flight Instructor, ensuring all candidates meet the rigorous standards necessary for delivering high-quality aviation training.

Education and Work Experience

The ideal candidate must demonstrate a foundational commitment to aviation education and professionalism.

• Attainment of a High School Diploma or successful completion of the General Education Development (GED) certification is a mandatory requirement.
• The organization actively seeks and highly values candidates who are in the process of pursuing an undergraduate degree in aviation management, aerospace science, or a related discipline.

Certifications, Knowledge, and Skills

The successful applicant must possess the necessary FAA certifications and medical compliance required for commercial flight instruction.

• A current and valid Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) certificate is strictly required.
• Possession of a current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Class III Medical Certificate is mandatory for employment.
• Candidates holding a Certified Flight Instructor – Instrument (CFII) rating are strongly preferred.
• Multi-Engine Instructor (MEI) certification is highly desirable and offers a significant advantage in the selection process.
• Applicants who possess or are eligible for an FAA Class II Medical Certificate will be given preferential consideration.
