Supervisor, Flight Attendant Aviation

Position Overview
SpaceX is actively seeking a qualified Supervisor for its in-house Flight Attendant Aviation team. This pivotal role offers the unique opportunity to participate in both domestic and international flights originating from local airports.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the recruitment and comprehensive training of flight attendants.
- Develop and manage budgets for catering services and aircraft supplies.
- Perform regular flight duties as an operational flight attendant and/or as a flight attendant instructor, as operationally required.
- Maintain all necessary training qualifications for flight operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory mandates and safety management system requirements, including annual emergency procedures training for assigned aircraft.
- Provide critical emergency assistance to passengers and crew when circumstances necessitate.
- Establish, maintain, and revise the flight attendant manual to ensure currency and accuracy.
- Cultivate and manage vendor relationships essential for ongoing training programs.
Basic Qualifications
- Possession of a high school diploma or an equivalency certificate.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a flight attendant.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated previous experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication proficiencies.
- Proven ability to de-escalate challenging or volatile situations effectively.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
- Experience within a corporate aviation or equivalent professional environment.
Additional Requirements
- Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification.
- Valid Evacuation Crew Member training and certificate.
- Food safety and handling certification.
- Availability to work on an on-call basis.
- Possession of a current passport.
- Flexibility to work all shifts, including extended hours, weekends, and holidays as operational needs dictate.
- Ability to successfully pass Air Force background checks for Cape Canaveral and Vandenberg locations.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range: Supervisor, FA Aviation: $115,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year.
Actual compensation will be determined on a case-by-case basis, considering job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience. The base salary is part of a comprehensive total rewards package at SpaceX, which may include:

ITAR Requirements
- A U.S. citizen or national.
- A U.S. lawful, permanent resident (green card holder).

- Or otherwise eligible to obtain the necessary authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
