Position Overview

Solairus Aviation is seeking a Full-Time Gulfstream G650 Captain to join an operation primarily based at the KSUA airport, with the aircraft splitting time between KSUA and KILG. Essential Responsibilities

The Gulfstream G650 Captain is responsible for the safe and prudent operation of the Gulfstream G650 aircraft. Key duties include, but are not limited to:

• Ensuring the safe operation of the aircraft.
• Conducting flights in accordance with, but not limited to, the following:
  • Reviewing the maintenance status of the aircraft.
  • Performing proper pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
  • Completing a thorough check of weather and facilities along the route, including alternate airports.
  • Ensuring flights adhere to Solairus Aviation policies and procedures and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Ensuring the safety of all passengers, aircraft, and crew.
  • Accurately completing all trip paperwork according to current procedures.

Qualifications

Minimum flight hour requirements:

• Total time: 3000 hours
• Pilot in Command (PIC): 1500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land Pilot in Command (MEL PIC): 500 hours
• Time in Turbo Jet: 500 hours
• Instrument: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications and Certifications

• Type rated on Gulfstream G650 or comparable aircraft.
• Holds a First Class Medical certificate.
• Must be able to work on an on-call basis.
• Must be able to complete ICAO International procedures training annually.
• Primary residence must be within a 2-hour drive from KSUA or KILG, or candidate must be willing to relocate.

Compensation

Solairus collects salary range information based on market conditions from multiple industry sources. Solairus crew members are compensated based on geographic area, experience, equipment type/aircraft, job duties, training, and the assigned account. The salary range for Solairus crew members is $50,000 to $500,000.
