Position Overview

Solairus Aviation invites applications for a distinguished Full-Time Global 7500 Captain to join a premier flight operation. Key Responsibilities

The Global 7500 Captain will be entrusted with the comprehensive and safe operation of the Bombardier Global 7500 aircraft. Core responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Ensuring the paramount safety of all passengers, aircraft, and crew throughout all phases of flight.
• Conducting all flights in strict adherence to Solairus Aviation policies and procedures, alongside all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and international standards.
• Performing thorough pre-flight inspections in strict accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Diligently reviewing aircraft maintenance status and verifying airworthiness.
• Executing comprehensive route planning, including detailed weather analysis, assessment of facilities along the route, and evaluation of primary and alternate airports.
• Maintaining meticulous and accurate completion of all required trip paperwork and flight documentation in line with current operational procedures.

Candidate Qualifications

Prospective candidates for the Global 7500 Captain position are expected to possess an exemplary flight record and meet the following stringent requirements:

Flight Experience

• Total Flight Time: A minimum of 3,000 hours.
• Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Time: A minimum of 1,500 hours.
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Time: A minimum of 1,500 hours.
• Multi-Engine Land Pilot-in-Command (MEL PIC) Time: A minimum of 500 hours.
• Turbojet Time: A minimum of 500 hours.
• Instrument Time: A minimum of 250 hours.

Certifications & Specific Requirements

• A current and valid Type Rating on the Global 7500 aircraft is highly preferred. Candidates with a Type Rating on a comparable large cabin business jet may also be considered.
• Possession of a current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate is mandatory.
• Demonstrated ability to operate effectively on an on-call schedule, accommodating the dynamic nature of private aviation.
• Commitment to completing annual ICAO International Procedures training.
• The ability to establish a primary residence within a two-hour drive of a major commercial airport or willingness to relocate to meet this requirement.

Salary ranges are determined based on prevailing market conditions, geographic location, extensive experience, specific equipment type/aircraft (including the Global 7500), detailed job duties, required training, and the assigned account. Annual compensation for Solairus crewmembers typically ranges from $50,000 to $500,000.
