Overview

Solairus Aviation is seeking a dedicated Gulfstream G550 Captain to join a four-pilot commutable operation. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professional excellence and contribute to a team environment centered on safety, service, and integrity. This role is responsible for meeting client travel needs while adhering to the highest operational standards.

Essential Responsibilities

Maintain the safe operation of the Gulfstream G550 aircraft.
Conduct flights safely and prudently, in compliance with Solairus Aviation policies and Federal Aviation Regulations.
Review aircraft maintenance status and conduct thorough pre-flight inspections as per the Aircraft Flight Manual.
Analyze weather conditions and facility reports for routes and alternate airports.
Ensure the safety of all passengers, crew, and the aircraft.
Complete all required trip paperwork accurately and in accordance with established procedures.

Qualifications

Total Flight Time: 3,000 hours
Pilot-in-Command (PIC): 1,500 hours
Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1,500 hours
MEL PIC: 500 hours
Turbo Jet Time: 500 hours
Instrument Time: 250 hours
Gulfstream G550 Type Rating or comparable aircraft experience.
Current First Class Medical Certificate.
Ability to work on an on-call basis.
Requirement to complete ICAO International procedures training annually.
Primary residence within a 2-hour drive of a major commercial airport or willingness to relocate.

Compensation

Solairus crewmembers are compensated within a range of $50,000 to $500,000, depending on geographic location, experience, aircraft type, job duties, training, and the assigned account.
