Gulfstream G550 Captain Opportunity Awaits in Northern California

Solairus Aviation is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Gulfstream G550 Captain to join their esteemed team based out of Charles M. Schulz–Sonoma County Airport (KSTS).

This is a unique opportunity for a passionate aviator to operate a state-of-the-art aircraft while delivering exceptional service within a culture that prioritizes safety, professionalism, and integrity. The ideal candidate will be a team player with an unwavering commitment to excellence in all aspects of their performance.

Responsibilities:

The Gulfstream G550 Captain will be entrusted with the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft while adhering to all Federal Aviation Regulations and Solairus Aviation procedures. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Conducting thorough pre-flight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Meticulously analyzing weather conditions, fuel requirements, and airport facilities for both primary and alternate destinations.
• Ensuring the safety and comfort of all passengers and crew throughout every flight.
• Maintaining accurate and timely completion of all required trip documentation.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Total Time: 3000 hours
• Pilot in Command (PIC): 1500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
• MEL PIC: 500 hours
• Turbojet Time: 500 hours
• Instrument Time: 250 hours
• G550 Type Rating or comparable aircraft type rating
• First Class Medical Certificate
• ICAO International Procedures Training (annual completion required)
• Ability to work on an on-call basis
• Primary residence within a reasonable driving distance of KSTS or willingness to relocate

Compensation and Benefits:

Solairus Aviation offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $50,000 to $500,000 per year based on experience, qualifications, and assigned account.
