Job Overview

Solairus Aviation is seeking a Full-Time Falcon 7X Captain to join an operation in the Chicago area. Essential Responsibilities and Duties

• Ensures the safe operation of the Falcon 7X aircraft.
• Conducts flights in a safe and prudent manner, adhering to all applicable regulations and procedures, including:
  • Reviewing the maintenance status of the aircraft.
  • Performing pre-flight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
  • Thoroughly checking weather and facilities for the intended route and alternative airports.
  • Ensuring flight operations comply with Solairus Aviation policies and Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Prioritizing the safety of passengers, aircraft, and crew.
  • Accurately completing all required trip paperwork.

Pilot Qualifications

• Total Flight Time: 3,000 hours
• Pilot-In-Command (PIC) Time: 1,500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Time: 1,500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land PIC Time: 500 hours
• Time in Turbo Jet Aircraft: 500 hours
• Instrument Flight Time: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications and Certifications

• Type rating on the Falcon 7X or a comparable aircraft.
• Valid First Class Medical Certificate.
• Availability to work on an on-call basis.
• Completion of annual ICAO International Procedures training.
• Primary residence within a two-hour drive of the Chicago area or willingness to relocate.

Solairus Aviation provides salary range information based on market conditions from multiple industry sources. Compensation for Solairus crewmembers ranges from $50,000 to $500,000, depending on factors such as geographic area, experience, aircraft type, job duties, training, and assigned accounts.
