Challenger 604 Captain Position – Bedford, MA

Solairus Aviation seeks a highly skilled and dedicated Challenger 604 Captain to join its operations based at KBED airport. This full-time position requires an exceptional individual committed to operational excellence and a collaborative team environment. Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

The Captain will be responsible for the safe and prudent operation of the Challenger 604 aircraft, adhering to all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations and company policies. Specific duties include:

Ensuring the aircraft's airworthiness through review of maintenance status.
Conducting thorough pre-flight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
Comprehensive weather and facility assessments along the planned route, including identification of suitable alternate airports.
Maintaining adherence to Solairus Aviation's operational procedures and all relevant Federal Aviation Regulations.
Prioritizing the safety of all passengers, crew, and the aircraft.
Meticulous completion of all required trip documentation according to established procedures.

Qualifications:

Total flight time: 3000 hours
Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time: 1500 hours
Multi-Engine Land (MEL) time: 1500 hours
Multi-Engine Land PIC time: 500 hours
Turbojet experience: 500 hours
Instrument time: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications and Certifications:

Type rating on a Challenger 604 or comparable aircraft.
Possession of a valid First Class medical certificate.
Availability for on-call work.
Ability to complete annual ICAO International procedures training.
Primary residence within a two-hour drive of KBED, or willingness to relocate.

Compensation:

Solairus Aviation offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $50,000 to $500,000 annually. The final salary will be determined based on factors including geographic location, experience level, aircraft type, job responsibilities, training, and assigned account.
