Job Summary

Solairus Aviation is seeking a Full-Time Global 6000 Captain for a commutable operation based at KSJC airport. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional teamwork and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of their performance. This role involves joining a dedicated team focused on safely and expertly meeting client travel needs while upholding Solairus' core values of safety, service, and integrity.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

• Responsible for the safe operation of the Global 6000 aircraft.
• Conduct flights in a safe and prudent manner, adhering to, but not limited to, the following:
  • Reviewing the maintenance status of the aircraft.
  • Performing pre-flight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
  • Assessing weather and facility information along the planned route and at destination and alternate airports.
  • Ensuring flight operations comply with Solairus Aviation policies, procedures, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Ensuring the safety of all passengers, aircraft, and crew.
  • Accurately completing all trip paperwork as per current procedures.

Qualifications

• Total flight time: 3000 hours
• Pilot in Command (PIC) time: 1500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL) time: 1500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land PIC time: 500 hours
• Time in Turbo Jet aircraft: 500 hours
• Instrument flight time: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications and Certifications

• Type rating on the Global 6000 or comparable aircraft.
• Possession of a first-class medical certificate.
• Availability to work on an on-call basis.
• Completion of annual ICAO International procedures training.
• Primary residence located within a short flight to KSJC or willingness to relocate.

Compensation Information

Salary ranges from $50,000 to $500,000, determined by factors including geographic area, experience, aircraft type, job duties, training, and assigned account.
