Essential Captain Responsibilities and Duties

The Captain is primarily responsible for the absolute safe, compliant, and prudent operation of the Global 6000 aircraft. The Captain oversees all necessary pre-flight and in-flight procedures, ensuring strict adherence to all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and Solairus Aviation Standard Operating Procedures.

• Ensures the safe and optimal operation of the assigned Global 6000 aircraft.
• Conducts comprehensive pre-flight preparation, including reviewing the aircraft maintenance status.
• Performs a proper pre-flight inspection in strict accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual (AFM).
• Completes a thorough review of meteorological conditions, facility status, and necessary services along the route of flight, including primary and alternate airports.
• Guarantees that all flight operations align with the established policies and procedures of Solairus Aviation and all applicable federal aviation regulations.
• Maintains uncompromising standards regarding the safety and security of all passengers, crew, and the aircraft.
• Ensures the accurate and timely completion of all trip-related paperwork and documentation in accordance with current procedures.

Minimum Professional Pilot Qualifications

The candidate must possess the following minimum flight experience requirements:

• Total Flight Time: 3,000 hours
• Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 1,500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Time: 1,500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land Pilot in Command (MEL PIC) Time: 500 hours
• Time in Turbo Jet Aircraft: 500 hours
• Instrument Time: 250 hours

Specific Certification Requirements

The successful applicant must satisfy the following specific criteria:

• Must hold a current Type Rating on the Global 6000 aircraft or a comparable business jet.
• A valid First Class Medical Certificate is mandatory.
• Must be available to work on an unrestricted, on-call basis to meet operational demands.
• Required to complete ICAO International Procedures training annually.
• Must maintain a primary residence within a two-hour drive of San Francisco Bay Area airports or demonstrate willingness to execute a permanent relocation.
