Essential Responsibilities and Duties
The Global 5000 Vision Captain's primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, ensuring the safe and prudent operation of the aircraft in accordance with all applicable regulations and company procedures:
- Responsible for the safe operation of the Global 5000 Vision aircraft.
- Conducting flights in a safe and prudent manner, including:
- Reviewing the maintenance status of the aircraft.
- Performing a proper pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
- Completing a thorough check of weather and facilities along the route to be flown and at all designated airports, including alternate airports.
- Ensuring flights are conducted in accordance with Solairus Aviation's policies and procedures and all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Guaranteeing the safety of all passengers, the aircraft, and the crew.
- Accurately completing all trip paperwork in accordance with current procedures.
Qualifications
Minimum Flight Experience Requirements:
- Total Time: 3,000 hours
- Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Time: 1,500 hours
- Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Time: 1,500 hours
- Multi-Engine Land Pilot-in-Command (MEL PIC) Time: 500 hours
- Time in Turbo Jet Aircraft: 500 hours
- Instrument Time: 250 hours
Specific Qualifications and Certifications:
- Possession of a current Type Rating on the Global 5000 Vision or a comparable aircraft.
- A valid First Class Medical Certificate is required.
- Must be able to work on an on-call basis to meet operational demands.
- Commitment to completing ICAO International procedures training annually.
- Primary residence within the Pacific Northwest or a willingness to relocate to the region.
Compensation
Solairus Aviation collects salary range information based on market conditions from multiple industry sources. Solairus crewmembers are paid competitively, with a range of $50,000 to $500,000 annually. Compensation is determined by various factors including geographic area, experience, equipment type/aircraft, specific job duties, training qualifications, and the assigned account.
