Position Summary

Solairus Aviation is actively seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Full-Time Global 5000 Vision Captain to join its esteemed operations based at the KHIO airport in Hillsboro, Oregon. This non-remote position offers a challenging yet rewarding opportunity for a seasoned aviation professional in the Pacific Northwest.

Key Responsibilities

The Global 5000 Vision Captain is entrusted with the following essential duties:

• Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the Global 5000 Vision aircraft.
• Conducting all flights in a safe and prudent manner, in strict accordance with, but not limited to, the following protocols:
  • Thoroughly reviewing the maintenance status of the assigned aircraft.
  • Executing a proper pre-flight inspection in strict adherence to the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
  • Conducting a comprehensive check of weather conditions and available facilities along the planned route, including all intended and alternate airports.
  • Guaranteeing that all flights are conducted in full compliance with Solairus Aviation's established policies and procedures, as well as all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).
  • Prioritizing and ensuring the utmost safety of all passengers, the aircraft, and the flight crew.
  • Accurately completing all required trip paperwork in accordance with current operational procedures.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Prospective candidates must meet the following minimum flight experience requirements:

• Total Flight Time: 3000 hours
• Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 1500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Time: 1500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land Pilot in Command (MEL PIC) Time: 500 hours
• Time in Turbo Jet Aircraft: 500 hours
• Instrument Flight Time: 250 hours

Specific Certifications & Requirements

In addition to the flight experience, the Captain must also possess:

• A current type rating on the Global 5000 Vision or a comparable aircraft.
• A valid First Class Medical Certificate.
• The ability to operate effectively on an on-call basis, demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness.
• A commitment to completing ICAO International procedures training annually.
• A primary residence within the Pacific Northwest region or a willingness to relocate to the area.

Compensation

Solairus Aviation offers a competitive salary range for its crewmembers, from $50,000 to $500,000 annually. Compensation is determined based on a variety of factors, including geographic area, comprehensive experience, specific equipment type/aircraft flown, job duties, required training, and the assigned account.
