Global Express XRS Captain - Full-Time, Burbank, California (KBUR)

Position Overview:

Solairus Aviation is actively seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Full-Time Global Express XRS Captain to join its operations based in Southern California at Burbank (KBUR) airport. This role requires a standout aviation professional committed to operational excellence and safety. Key Responsibilities:

The Global Express XRS Captain holds primary responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft. Essential duties include:

• Ensuring the safe operation of the Global Express aircraft on all flights.
• Conducting flights in a safe and prudent manner, strictly adhering to all applicable regulations and company policies.
• Thoroughly reviewing the maintenance status of the aircraft before each flight.
• Performing a comprehensive pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Conducting a complete analysis of weather conditions and airport facilities along the planned route, including primary and alternate airports.
• Ensuring all flight operations are conducted in full compliance with Solairus Aviation policies and procedures, as well as Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).
• Prioritizing and ensuring the safety and security of all passengers, the aircraft, and the crew.
• Accurately completing all required trip paperwork and documentation in accordance with current procedures.

Minimum Required Flight Experience:

• Total Flight Time: 3,000 hours
• Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 1,500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Time: 1,500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 500 hours
• Turbo Jet Time: 500 hours
• Instrument Time: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications:

• Possess a Type Rating on the Bombardier Global Express (BBD700) or a comparable aircraft type.
• Hold a current First Class Medical Certificate.
• Must be available to work on an on-call basis as required by operational needs.
• Must successfully complete annual ICAO International procedures training.
• Must maintain a primary residence within a 5-hour drive from KBUR airport or be willing to relocate to the area.

The compensation range for Solairus Aviation crewmembers, including this Captain position, varies based on geographic area, experience level, equipment type/aircraft, specific job duties, training completed, and the assigned account. The expected salary range for positions within Solairus Aviation is between $50,000 and $500,000 annually.
