Overview

Solairus Aviation seeks a highly skilled and dedicated Global 6000 Captain to join its operations at KSJC airport. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional professionalism and commitment to excellence, striving to meet the demanding needs of clients while upholding Solairus' unwavering commitment to safety, service, and integrity.

Essential Responsibilities/Duties

• Assume primary responsibility for the safe operation of the Global 6000 aircraft.
• Execute all flights in accordance with safety regulations and best practices, including:
  • Thorough review of aircraft maintenance status.
  • Meticulous pre-flight inspection as outlined in the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
  • Comprehensive assessment of weather conditions and facilities along the flight route and at destination and alternate airports.
  • Strict adherence to Solairus Aviation policies and procedures, as well as all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Prioritization of the safety and well-being of all passengers, crew, and the aircraft.
  • Accurate and timely completion of all trip documentation according to established procedures.

Qualifications

• Total flight time: 3,000 hours
• Pilot-in-Command (PIC) experience: 1,500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL) experience: 1,500 hours
• MEL PIC experience: 500 hours
• Turbo Jet experience: 500 hours
• Instrument Rating: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications/Certifications

• Type rating on Global 6000 or comparable aircraft.
• Current First Class Medical certificate.
• Availability to work on an on-call basis.
• Ability to complete annual International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) training.
• Primary residence within a 5-hour drive from KSJC, or willingness to relocate.

The company utilizes market data from various industry sources to ensure competitive compensation, ranging from $50,000 to $500,000 annually.
