About the Role

Solairus Aviation is seeking a Full-Time Falcon 2000LXS Captain to join an operation based at the KSLC airport in Salt Lake City, Utah. This role involves the safe and expert operation of the Falcon 2000LXS aircraft, ensuring client travel needs are met with the highest standards of safety, service, and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the safe operation of the Falcon 2000LXS aircraft.
• Conduct flights in a safe and prudent manner, adhering to:
  • Reviewing the maintenance status of the aircraft.
  • Conducting proper pre-flight inspections per the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
  • Completing thorough checks of weather and facilities along the route and at destination/alternate airports.
  • Ensuring flight operations comply with Solairus Aviation policies, procedures, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Safeguarding all passengers, the aircraft, and the crew.
  • Accurately completing all trip paperwork according to current procedures.

Requirements

• Total Flight Time: 3000 hours
• Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 1500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Time: 1500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL) PIC Time: 500 hours
• Time in Turbo Jet Aircraft: 500 hours
• Instrument Flight Time: 250 hours

Qualifications

• Type rating on the Falcon 2000LXS or a comparable aircraft.
• Possession of a first-class medical certificate.
• Ability to work on an on-call basis.
• Must complete ICAO International procedures training annually.
• Primary residence must be within a 2-hour drive of KSLC, or willingness to relocate.
