Solairus Aviation | Falcon2000/2000EX Captain

Boise, ID, United States

Solairus Aviation is searching for a FULL-TIME pilot to fly a PC12NG (as PIC) & Falcon 2000 Classic (as SIC or possibly PIC) in Boise, ID . The ideal candidate will need to be a standout colleague while seeking excellence in every aspect of his/her performance. Join a hardworking team who strives to safely and expertly meet the travel needs of our clients while adhering to Solairus’ unique culture of safety, service, and integrity.

Once staffed, this account will consist of the two aircraft, four pilots, and a maintenance technician – plus the full support of the Solairus Aviation team. This account has a 15-year operating history with the Falcon 2000 and its original crew; the PC12NG is a new addition. Crew monthly averages (Falcon data only): 23 flight-hours, 13 workdays, and 10-overnights. The PC12NG is based in Idaho and the Falcon 2000 is based in California.

This is a commutable position; however, the ideal candidate would live near, or be willing to relocate to, Boise, ID. Candidates that reside in this area, or a short airline flight away (e.g., Denver or Salt Lake City), will be given preference. Candidates must be comfortable commuting via airline, both short- and long-term.

Candidates should have experience that makes them feel comfortable flying the PC12NG (occasional single-pilot ops) throughout the western-region and dealing directly with the aircraft owners and their guests.

The ideal candidate will have dedicated their career to business/general aviation; have a strong, yet relaxed, work/life integration; and be eager to help and learn. They will have a good attitude, be competent, respectful, personable, and patient. The ideal candidate will have a long-term mindset.

While most operations are conducted 91, Part 135 compliance (i.e., training, testing, etc.) will be required for some missions. On-call and last-minute 91 and 135 flying is rare and unlikely on this account.

Specific, or similar, experience in either the Pilatus or Falcon is advantageous, but not required. Familiar with western-region mountainous airports is a plus (e.g., ASE, JAC, SUN, RIL, etc.).

Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
