About the Role
Solairus Aviation is seeking a Full-Time Gulfstream G800 Captain to operate out of Portland, Oregon (KPDX). This role requires a dedicated professional committed to excellence and a team player who will contribute to the company's culture of safety, service, and integrity. The Captain will ensure the safe and expert transport of clients while upholding company standards.
Essential Responsibilities

Responsible for the safe operation of the Gulfstream G800 aircraft.

Conduct flights safely and prudently, adhering to all applicable regulations and company policies.

Review aircraft maintenance status.

Perform thorough pre-flight inspections as per the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.

Conduct comprehensive checks of weather and facilities for the planned route and alternate airports.

Ensure compliance with Solairus Aviation policies, procedures, and Federal Aviation Regulations.

Prioritize the safety of passengers, aircraft, and crew.

Accurately complete all trip-related paperwork.
Qualifications

Total flight time: 3000 hours

Pilot in Command (PIC) time: 1500 hours

Multi-Engine Land (MEL) time: 1500 hours

MEL PIC time: 500 hours

Time in Turbo Jet aircraft: 500 hours

Instrument flight time: 250 hours
Specific Qualifications and Certifications

Type rating on the Gulfstream G800 or comparable aircraft.

Valid first-class medical certificate.

Availability to work on an on-call basis.

Ability to complete annual ICAO International procedures training.

Primary residence within a two-hour drive of KPDX, or a willingness to relocate.
