Solairus Aviation | CL604/605 First Officer

Solairus Aviation is seeking a safety-minded and team-oriented First Officer (FO) for a full-time Second-in-Command (SIC) role operating the Challenger 650. This position is based at Austin Executive Airport (KEDC) in Pflugerville, Texas, and involves international operations to meet client travel needs.

About the Role

The First Officer will be responsible for the safe operation of the Challenger 650 (CL650) and for conducting flights in a safe and prudent manner. Key duties include reviewing aircraft maintenance status, performing pre-flight inspections, thoroughly checking weather and flight route facilities, ensuring compliance with company policies and Federal Aviation Regulations, and safeguarding passengers, aircraft, and crew. Accurate completion of all trip paperwork is also required.

Requirements

• Minimum 3,000 hours total flight time.
• Minimum 1,500 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time.
• Minimum 1,500 hours multi-engine land (MEL) time.
• Minimum 500 hours MEL PIC time.
• Minimum 500 hours in turbojet aircraft.
• Minimum 250 hours instrument time.
• Must hold a First Class medical certificate.
• Must be type rated on the Challenger 650 or a comparable aircraft.
• Must be available to work on an on-call basis.
• Must complete ICAO International procedures training annually.
• Must maintain a primary residence within a two-hour drive of KEDC or be willing to relocate.
