Solairus Aviation | CL604/605 Captain

Solairus Aviation is seeking a full-time Challenger 605 Captain for a corporate operation based at Bedford, Massachusetts (KBED). The Captain will be responsible for the safe and professional execution of all flights, upholding the company's high standards of safety, service, and integrity while meeting client travel needs.

About the Role

The Challenger 605 Captain will ensure the safe operation of the CL605 aircraft. Responsibilities include reviewing aircraft maintenance status, conducting thorough preflight inspections according to the approved Aircraft Flight Manual, assessing weather and airport conditions for planned routes and alternates, and adhering strictly to Solairus Aviation policies, procedures, and Federal Aviation Regulations. Protecting the safety of passengers, aircraft, and crew, and accurately completing all required trip paperwork are paramount.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3,000 hours of total flight time.
• At least 1,500 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC).
• A minimum of 1,500 hours in multi-engine land aircraft.
• A minimum of 500 hours as multi-engine land Pilot in Command (PIC).
• A minimum of 500 hours in turbojet aircraft.
• A minimum of 250 hours of instrument time.
• Type rating on the Challenger 605 or a comparable aircraft.
• Possession of a first-class medical certificate.
• Availability to work on an on-call basis.
• Completion of annual ICAO international procedures training.
• Maintenance of a primary residence within a two-hour drive of KBED or a willingness to relocate.
