Solairus Aviation is seeking a skilled Challenger 605 Captain for a full-time position based in the NY Area. This role is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Challenger 605 aircraft, ensuring the highest standards of safety, service, and integrity.
About the Role

Responsible for the safe operation of the Challenger 605 aircraft.

Conduct flights safely and prudently, adhering to the Aircraft Flight Manual, operational policies, and Federal Aviation Regulations.

Review aircraft maintenance status.

Perform pre-flight inspections.

Assess weather and facilities for the intended route and alternates.

Ensure the safety of all passengers, aircraft, and crew.

Complete all trip paperwork accurately.

Work on an on-call basis.
Requirements

Total flight time: 3000 hours

Pilot in Command (PIC) time: 1500 hours

Multi-Engine Land (MEL) time: 1500 hours

MEL PIC time: 500 hours

Time in Turbo Jet aircraft: 500 hours

Instrument flight time: 250 hours
Qualifications

Type rating on the Challenger 605 or a comparable aircraft.

Valid first-class medical certificate.

Must complete ICAO International procedures training annually.

Primary residence within a two-hour drive of the NY Area, or willingness to relocate.
