Snohomish Flying Service | Instructor

Snohomish Flying Service, a long-established FAR 141 approved flight school located in the Pacific Northwest near Seattle and the Boeing Aircraft home, seeks a qualified Flight Instructor to join their team. This role involves providing comprehensive instruction and conducting examinations to aspiring pilots.

About the Role

• Provide effective flight, simulator, and ground Progress Checks and End-of-Course (EOC) examinations for students.
• Ensure full compliance with Part 141/61 regulations and the Snohomish Flying Service Training Course Outline.
• Conduct thorough assessments of student knowledge, skill, risk management, and regulatory compliance during examinations.
• Maintain adherence to all applicable FAA regulations and internal policies.
• Oversee and participate in student scheduling and maintain student records.
• Ensure lesson objectives and completion standards are met by each student.

Requirements

• Prior experience in providing Progress/Stage Checks.
• Professional appearance and attitude, with a strong commitment to adhering to schedules.
• Excellent record-keeping and communication skills.
• Hold a current Certified Flight Instructor Instrument (CFII) Instructor Rating.
• A Gold Seal CFI is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current CFII Certificate.
