Pilot - First Officer
SkyWest Airlines is seeking qualified pilots to join its team as First Officers. This role involves assisting the Pilot-in-Command in safely and efficiently conducting flights across a network of domiciles throughout the United States, including but not limited to Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Minnesota, Michigan, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Washington, and Wisconsin. The position requires a commitment to flexible scheduling and availability for all days of the week, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
About the Role

Assist the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in conducting flight operations safely and efficiently.

Support the PIC and/or passenger service personnel to ensure timely departures.

Share responsibility for manipulating flight controls during taxiing, takeoff, and landing.
Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Hold a Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine and Instrument Ratings.

Possess an English Proficiency Endorsement (EPE) on Airman Certificate.

Hold a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.

Be a U.S. citizen or able to provide proof of the right to work in the U.S.

Hold an FCC Radiotelephone Operator's Permit.

Possess a current Passport or other travel documents enabling unrestricted exit and re-entry into the U.S., and be legally eligible to work in the U.S.

Must be available to work any day of the week, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Be within three months of meeting the minimum flight hour requirements.

Meet the experience requirements of FAR 61.159 prior to employment.
Qualifications

SkyWest will provide the means to complete a SkyWest-approved CTP course for successful applicants who pass the interview.

SkyWest accepts helicopter or glider time as part of total flight time, provided the applicant has a minimum of 250 PIC hours in fixed-wing aircraft.

Must be willing to fly assigned schedules based on pilot bidding seniority.
