About the Role
The Pilot role is integral to the safe and efficient operation of SkyWest Airlines' flights. Pilots are responsible for assisting the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in conducting flights, ensuring prompt departures, and manipulating flight controls as required during taxiing, takeoff, and landing. This position demands flexibility and availability to work any day of the week, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements

Minimum age of 21 years.

Possession of a Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine and Instrument Ratings.

English Proficiency Endorsement (EPE) on Airman Certificate.

A current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.

Must be a U.S. citizen or possess legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Hold an FCC Radiotelephone Operator's Permit.

Possess a current Passport or equivalent travel documents enabling unrestricted re-entry into the U.S.

Must be available to work on any day, seven days a week, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Must be within three months of meeting the minimum hour requirements detailed by FAR 61.159.
Qualifications

Applicants must meet the experience requirements of FAR 61.159 prior to employment.

SkyWest Airlines will provide the means to complete a SkyWest-approved CTP course for successful candidates who complete an application and pass the pilot interview.

SkyWest will accept helicopter or glider time as part of an applicant's total time, provided they have a minimum of 250 PIC hours of fixed-wing experience.
