SkyWest Pilot Pathway Program
The SkyWest Pilot Pathway Program offers a structured route for exceptional pilots to initiate their professional flying careers at SkyWest Airlines. This program continues until participants meet the required minimums for an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) or Restricted Airline Transport Pilot (R-ATP) certificate.

Eligibility Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.

Must be a U.S. citizen or provide proof of legal right to work in the United States.

Must be an active or former student at a designated SkyWest partner institution.

Must have no more than two check ride failures on record.

Must actively maintain and update flight hour documentation monthly through the SkyWest online portal.

Candidates from SkyWest Elite Partners (ATP, AeroGuard, FLT Academy) are eligible upon commencement of flight training.

Candidates from SkyWest Standard Partners must hold a Private Pilot License, an Instrument Rating, and a Commercial Rating.
