About the Role
The SkyWest Flight Attendant is primarily responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers onboard the aircraft. Key duties include preparing and serving in-flight beverages and meals, assisting passengers with baggage, making announcements, and providing leadership and assistance during emergency and non-emergency situations. The role also involves resolving passenger issues calmly and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.

High school diploma or equivalency required.

Possession of a current, valid U.S. or foreign passport book, valid for at least 12 months following the application date, and any necessary visas for travel between the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the Bahamas.

Excellent English communication skills for providing safety information and writing detailed reports.

Comfortable using electronic devices and PEDs for various flight and training duties.

Willingness to work varied shifts up to 16 hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Ability to travel frequently and spend extended periods alone and without supervision.

Must be reliable and punctual.

Willingness to relocate to an assigned crew domicile after successful completion of training.

Height between 5'0" and 6'0" without shoes, and weight proportionate to allow for safe operation of aircraft and movement within the cabin.

Physically capable of frequent walking, bending, reaching, operating emergency exits and aircraft doors, and pushing/pulling a beverage cart.

Corrected vision not exceeding 20/40.

Normal or corrected hearing range within 15-17kHz.

Professional, neat, and clean overall appearance, adhering to specific grooming and tattoo policies.

Must wear a company-issued uniform and compliant face mask/covering as required.

Compensation and Benefits

Guaranteed 76 flight hours per month as a reserve after initial training.

Starting pay of $30.32 per flight hour.

Base monthly compensation of $2,304.32 (76 flight hours x $30.32).

Per diem of $2.25 for every hour on duty away from domicile.
