As a Flight Attendant with SkyWest Airlines, the primary responsibility is to ensure the safety and comfort of passengers during flight. This involves serving meals and beverages, assisting passengers, and providing leadership and assistance in both emergency and non-emergency situations. Responsibilities

Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers onboard the aircraft.

Efficiently prepare, serve, and restock in-flight beverages, meals, and snacks, and conduct onboard sales.

Greet passengers, assist with carry-on baggage stowage, and deliver onboard announcements.

Provide effective leadership, direction, and assistance in emergency and non-emergency situations.

Calmly resolve passenger situations during flight, including disorderly passengers and medical emergencies.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations by inspecting and safely operating aircraft cabin components, systems, and emergency equipment.

Adhere to established procedures and performance standards without supervision.
Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.

High school diploma or equivalency required.

Possession of a current, valid U.S. or foreign passport book valid for at least 12 months following the application date, along with any necessary visas for travel between the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the Bahamas.

Excellent English communication skills for providing safety information and writing reports.

Comfortable utilizing basic functions of electronic devices and PEDs for operating systems, sales, and other duties.

Willingness to work varied shifts up to 16 hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Ability to travel frequently and spend lengthy periods alone and without supervision.

Must be reliable and punctual.

Willingness to relocate to an assigned crew domicile after successful completion of training.
Physical and Other Qualifications

Height and weight must allow for safe operation of the aircraft and fit within specific aircraft dimensions (e.g., sit in jump seat and fasten harness, move through cabin aisle, operate emergency exits).

Height between 5'0" and 6'0" without shoes.

Physically able to perform tasks requiring frequent walking, bending, reaching, opening emergency exits, closing aircraft doors (up to 45 pounds), pushing/pulling beverage carts (up to 250 pounds), and lifting/storing items.

Corrected vision must not exceed 20/40.

Normal or corrected hearing range within 15-17kHZ.

Professional, neat, and clean overall appearance.
-
No extreme hair styles or colors.

Specific guidelines apply to piercings and visible tattoos; these may need to be covered according to company policy.

Must wear a company-issued uniform and compliant face mask/covering as required.
