About the Role
SkyWest Airlines, the largest independently owned regional airline, is seeking dedicated individuals to join their team as Flight Attendants in various domiciles across the United States. This dynamic role is centered on ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers while upholding high standards of operational safety and customer service within a deadline-driven environment. Key Responsibilities

Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers onboard the aircraft.

Contribute to a positive and productive work environment.

Prepare, serve, and restock in-flight beverages, meals, and snacks, and facilitate onboard sales.

Greet passengers, assist with baggage stowage, and deliver onboard announcements.

Provide effective leadership and assistance during emergency and non-emergency situations.

Calmly resolve passenger situations, including medical emergencies and disorderly conduct.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations by inspecting and operating aircraft cabin components and emergency equipment.

Adhere to established procedures and performance standards independently.
Requirements

Minimum age of 21 years.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Possession of a current, valid U.S. or foreign passport book valid for at least 12 months following the application date, along with necessary visas for travel between the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the Bahamas.

Excellent English communication skills for providing safety information and writing reports.

Comfortable using basic electronic devices and PEDs for operational tasks.

Willingness to work varied shifts up to 16 hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Ability to travel frequently and spend extended periods alone and without supervision.

Reliability and punctuality.

Willingness to relocate to an assigned crew domicile upon successful completion of training.
Physical and Other Requirements

Height and weight must allow for safe operation of the aircraft, including fitting into the jump seat with harness, moving through the cabin aisle, and operating emergency exits. Specific height requirement: between 5'0" and 6'0" without shoes.

Physically capable of frequent walking, bending, reaching, opening emergency exits, closing aircraft doors (up to 45 lbs), pushing/pulling beverage carts (up to 250 lbs), and lifting/transporting items.

Corrected vision not exceeding 20/40.

Normal or corrected hearing range within 15-17kHZ.

Professional, neat, and clean overall appearance.

No extreme hair styles or colors.

Specific guidelines for piercings and visible tattoos, requiring covering of non-compliant tattoos.

Must wear a company-issued uniform and compliant face mask/covering as required.
